Continue your students’ keyboard journey with this in-depth webinar focused on Music Makers: At the Keyboard — Year Two, beginning at the end of Children’s Book 3 and concentrating on Children’s Book 4. This training is designed to help teachers confidently guide students through new musical challenges while maintaining Musikgarten’s joyful, aural-based learning approach.
During this session, you’ll explore how Book 4 expands students’ skills and musical understanding through:
- New songs introduced through playing by ear
- More complex left-hand parts and coordination
- Increased improvisation to encourage creativity and composing
- New repertoire for reading and performance
- Classical works by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Schumann, and Dvořák used for drumming, dancing, dynamics, and harmonic exploration
- More advanced notation games and musical concepts
