Hands-On Training with Live Demo Classes

Join us for an inspiring, interactive in-person Musikgarten training designed to give you real-world experience teaching early childhood music classes. This immersive training covers Babies, Toddlers, and Cycles, providing practical tools, teaching techniques, and hands-on learning that you can immediately bring into your own classes.

This training will be led by Emily Tallent, an experienced and highly respected Musikgarten Teacher Trainer. Training Breakdown

Babies Training

Explore how to create nurturing musical environments for infants and their caregivers. This session focuses on:

  • Bonding through music and movement
  • Gentle vocal play and singing techniques
  • Early listening and sensory experiences
  • Age-appropriate instrument use
  • Parent education and engagement
  • Structuring a Baby's class for success

You’ll observe and participate in a live demo class and learn how to confidently guide families through meaningful musical experiences.


Toddlers Training

Learn how to channel toddler energy into joyful, structured musical learning. Topics include:

  • Movement-based learning strategies
  • Vocal development for young children
  • Rhythm activities and instrument play
  • Classroom flow and transitions
  • Managing toddler behavior positively
  • Encouraging parent participation

This session includes a live toddler demo class and hands-on practice with activities you can use immediately.


Cycles Training

Discover how Cycles classes build musical independence while keeping learning playful and engaging. This training covers:

  • Developing singing voices and pitch matching
  • Rhythm pattern development
  • Movement for musical understanding
  • Story-based musical learning
  • Instrument exploration and ensemble work
  • Preparing children for future musical study

You will observe a live Cycles demo class and gain practical teaching strategies for this important developmental stage.
