Webinar Policies

Your enrollment in the Webinar(s) of your choice will be complete upon receipt of full payment for the sessions you wish to attend. Attendance for each day of the webinar is mandatory and required for certification. Most webinar certification requirements are as follows (Note: There are some variations in webinar certifications. Please refer to each webinar’s certification requirements or contact shannon.mullins@musikgarten.org with questions.):

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY – WEBINARS:

All Musikgarten Webinars training sessions include instruction and Actual Printed Materials.  We’ve embraced the convenience that online training offers teachers, but we stop at asking teachers to view materials on a screen that should be theirs to hold and keep for future reference.

Participant Cancellation: Since materials are included in the Webinar training tuition cost, a refund of the tuition minus a $25 cancel fee and minus the cost of the material will be made if Musikgarten is notified in writing at least three weeks before the beginning date of the training. (Note: We will also allow a participant to transfer registration to the same webinar session at a later date.)

After the three-week time period, a credit can be issued to your Musikgarten account, upon written request, to apply to tuition fees for a future Musikgarten Webinar within one year. After one year, the tuition credit is forfeited. Once the training session has begun, all registered participants are expected to attend the entire webinar, and no refunds will be given.

Musikgarten Cancellation: If enrollment does not meet a sufficient number, a webinar may be cancelled up to the Friday before the beginning of the online event.  In this case, Musikgarten will notify you immediately and issue a full refund minus the cost of materials if the participant wishes to keep them or, with the participant’s permission, move the registration to the next available webinar.

CERTIFICATION: Musikgarten Certification will be granted to each participant completing a full course via webinar and demonstrating rhythm and tonal competency. All contact hours can be applied toward certification by the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association (ECMMA).

LICENSING: Participants are required to become licensed Musikgarten teachers after they have received certification in one level of Musikgarten.

CREDIT (CEUs, etc.): All of our webinars can be used toward continuing education units (CEU), professional development points, and/or staff development units. Contact your local office for instructions. Musikgarten will fill out any paperwork you provide to complete our part of the process to help you get the credit. Activity credit for members of the American Montessori Society is also available.
