Family Music for Toddlers
Come learn everything you need to begin teaching a 15-week session of
Sing With Me for toddlers and parents:
- Learn repertoire and activities that delight and engage both parents and children
- Discuss the nature of the toddler – including his social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Gain a new understanding of how children learn music and discover what to look for as they progress on the pathway to music literacy.
- Explore effective ways to help parents play musically with their children.
- Acquire tips for effective parent education.
- Observe a live demonstration class of parents and toddlers taught by a master teacher.
- Practice teach with your peers in a supportive environment.
Special Program Planning Session: Throughout the workshop, special attention will be given to helping participants launch a successful studio. Consideration of where to establish a studio, price structuring, a marketing plan, and recruiting families are among the topics to be discussed.
